A novel function of polypropylene grafted with maleic anhydride (PP-g-MA) as synergistic additive to effectively reduce the flammability of polypropylene (PP) nanocomposites (PNCs)reinforced with in situ synthesized cobalt (Co)–cobalt oxide core–shell nanoparticles (NPs) was reported.
