Characterization & Synthesis Nano magnetic particles. Ms. Meera Thiyagarajan AP/Physics, Department of Physics Vivekanandha Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women. Magnetic particles find wide applications and specifically as memory device. The emerging new storage devices are due to the large memory capacity of the nano magnetic particles .The super para magnetism is the basic reason for the large storage of data. The synthesis of nano magnetic particles is by sol gel technique in the laboratory. The particle size, distribution and shape are determined by TEM, the samples are characterized by XRD. The significant variation of the parameters exhibited in the height and width of the hysteresis loops . They are observed for small variation of particle size using particle analyzer.XRD shows the rough area and noisy variations determine the different size of the nano magnetic particles. Even though sol gel technique gives homogeneous size.The high resolving TEM,SEM,AFM shows the conformation presence of nano magnetic particle of size 5 nm-20nm.These nano particles are fit for magnetic storage of data. Our study shows the present memory devices can be replaced by these new storage devices using nano magnetic materials.
