The dynamics for the effect of X-ray flux on periodic lattice distortion waves in YBCO (YBa2Cu3O7-d) 50nm films on STO *SrTiO3) is described: The X-ray flux r(t)=photons/s can induce many possible resonant excitations between states, n,l when hv-Sum(En-El)=>0. Here hv(n,l)+YBCO=>X¹ indicates a path for: YBCO7(metal)=X¹=YBCO6.5(insulator) transition. The YBCO mole fraction, y(YBCO) at r(t) is varied by Al filters f t mil thick, and obeys the relation: 1/y(YBCO) = 1 + r(t) T1 where T1 is the X¹ lifetime and 1/T1 is of the order r(0) ~ 10 giga photons/s achieved in synchrotrons.
