Raman spectroscopy can provide for quick measurements of the carbonaceous purity of carbon nanotube samples. Carbonaceous purity is a critical parameter for many applications of carbon nanotubes. Raman spectroscopy has been reported many times in the literature as a technique which can be used to quickly measure carbonaceous purity although there are few instances in which details are provided on how the analysis is conducted. The goal of this poster is to demonstrate the effectiveness and the speed of the technique for this measurement, to provide details on how the measurement is performed, and to provide information on how to optimize parameters for the analysis.
