We outline the methods and tools of fluid characterization, drop visualization and drop formation physics that are used at Cambridge. We present recent results and interpretation for drop on demand inkjet printing of some model fluids and also discuss their implications for general inkjet fluids. (This is an early draft for the invited talk at the Inkjet symposium to be given by Steve Hoath – our approval process takes some time and I noted your 28 Jan deadline on 26th!)
