Thin nanostructured films by Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett technique of novel azocompounds are reported. Brewster’s angle microscopy (BAM), UV-Visible absorption and atomic force microscopy (AFM) were obtained to determine the stability and quality of the films. According BAM images we determine that the films on the interface air/water (Langmuir films) are stable and homogeneous. The films in solid state (Langmuir-Blodgett) are study by UV-Visible absorption where we observe that the concentration of azocompounds deposited onto solid substrates increase linearly in all cases, images of AFM let us to be able to determine homogeneity of the films that confirmed the films stability.
