We demonstrate the accuracy of the numerical approach by comparing computed results to low frequency asymptotic expansions for an oscillating sphere. The computational cost is verified to grow nearly linearly with problem size by examining successive refinements of the sphere. Finally, the frequency dependence of drag on a simplified comb is presented. | | ISBN: | 0-9666135-4-6 |
