In addition to London, Johnson & Johnson will also open an Innovation Center in Boston, San Francisco, and Shanghai. These four cities were identified by J&J as leading innovation hotspots for healthcare R&D and entrepreneurship. The company notes in the release that “it wants to help scientists, entrepreneurs and emerging companies to collaborate with in-house science and technology staff from across the J&J healthcare business.”
