As the Eastman Kodak Co. moves from the analog world of silver halide films to today’s world of digital imaging, many nanotechnology applications are playing key support roles.
More than 25 years ago, Kodak scientists were among the first to experiment with digital imaging technologies. Today, that same instinct for finding the right innovations for the right products is driving Kodak to line up research projects, partners and funding to explore potentials for MEMS and nanotechnologies.

10th Annual NSTI Nanotech 2007 Sets Record Attendance in Silicon Valley, CA

NSTI Nanotech Will Return to Boston June 1-6, 2008.
The Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI) announced this month that final attendance numbers for the Nanotech 2007 conference and trade show exceeded 3,500 attendees, which was the largest attendance rate in conference history. This year’s attendees represented research, commercial and investment professionals from over 70 countries. The results make our Nanotech conference series, which started in 1997, the largest nanotechnology-focused conference in North America.

NSTI Honors Individuals in Nanotechnology Community with Second Annual NSTI Fellow Awards at Ceremony in Santa Clara

This year, the NSTI was pleased to honor nine individuals for their invaluable contributions towards the advancement of the International NSTI Nanotechnology, Microtechnology and Biotechnology Community.
The 2007 NSTI Fellow Awards were given out in a special ceremony at the Santa Clara Convention Center, this year’s venue for Nanotech 2007.
