Nanostructured Materials & Devices Committee
Annual Symposium Synopsys
Nanotechnology takes manufacturing to the molecular level. Research in this area
is opening new fields of development and applications in many areas: materials
science (nanostructured materials), medicine, biotechnology, genomics,
manufacturing, computing, information technology and communications.
As research progresses, nanomaterials with improved functionality will be
created. These materials will be the foundation for new generations of products
and devices.
This special symposium will highlight developing innovative technologies based
on the judicious manipulation and modification of the chemical and physical
structures of materials at the nano dimension.
We invite you to participate in the Nanotech 2006 Nanostructured Materials &
Devices Special Symposium. Please submit your abstract below. We highly encourage
your participation in this community, through your comments, suggestions and
offers for assistance in review and organization.

Submit Proposal or Comment to Committee Chair
We encourage you to participate and to submit your interest as either an
Scientific Committee Member or to organize a Scientific Committee*. The
NSTI will provide the infrastructure for each Industrial Committee to
organize and present a focused Symposium at the annual Nanotech
Conference and Trade Show (Nanotech 2008,
Boston, Massachusetts, June 1-5, 2008). Details will be provide upon approval of
proposal.
* All submissions will be reviewed by the NSTI Scientific Committee
Chairs and a timely response will be issued.
